What is your training?
I went to school for commercial art and graduated with a BFA in Graphic Design from CalArts. In regards to my painting career, I am mostly self-taught.
What inspires you and your designs?
Life, emotions, music, nature, etc.
What is your favorite piece?
Hard to answer. But, as of right now, my favorite piece is DOGMA from the Dogma Series.
How has your area influenced your work?
Recently, I moved to Santa Fe, New Mexico. Here the light and landscape are magnificent. Also, the intense four seasons, the size of the town, and the incredible fresh air greatly influence my work. I feel more alive.
What is your favorite restaurant in Santa Fe?
What is your favorite cocktail?
I normally do not drink cocktails. My preference is for red wine, Cabernet.
How do you balance personal life and work?
It is a juggling act for sure. I really never know what my day will bring. I kind of go with the flow of what the priority is. I like to hike, enjoy great meals, and, why not, get massages as often asI can. So when I work, I feel the best I can.
