Karma and GoDaddy must be telling me to take a break this week as my host (GoDaddy) is having serious server issues.  My site has been spotty and inaccessible at times. Apologies, I know a slow loading site is so frustrating.  Hopefully, I will be back on track soon.

Anyway, as I am enjoying a family Spring Break this week skiing in Colorado, I think about a busy Spring work schedule with loads of upcoming design events.  I enjoy what I do so much and love the friendships and relationships that have formed over the years.  This year design friends and I have rented a house in the Hollywood Hills to enjoy the camaraderie of La Cienega Design Quarter Legends Events.

What is more fun is some of my friends are doing windows and other designers are covering the events on their blogs as ambassadors for the events.

I highly suggest you buy your VIP ticket ASAP to ensure your spot at this fabulous few days of design debauchery.

Last year it was coined as “Spring Break for Designers.”  It was such fun.  A highlight was seeing the stellar window by friends Tami and Krista of Cloth & Kind

La Cienega Design Quarter

For more than half a century, the La Cienega Design Quarter has been the destination for sophisticated shoppers looking for top quality design for the home.

This legendary district, with its romantic courtyards, alluring windows and treasure troves of antiques, furniture, lighting, fabrics, stone, rugs, accessories and art, is known as the “shopping heart” and workplace of the interior design profession. Having expanded to include Melrose Avenue to the west and to the east of La Cienega and side by side with some of L.A.’s most glamorous restaurants, fashion boutiques and salons, the LCDQ is the West Coast style destination
for all.
