It has been a week since I revealed my One Room Challenge.  I am thrilled to have shared what may be my favorite ORC to date.  The introduction to new vendors and sponsors through this process is amazing.

One brand that I am thrilled to work with is The Shade Store. I have know about them for years but had not used them until this project.  They are the answer to my roman shade prayers.  Roman shades are the weak link in my window treatment arsinal. Everyone loves them for their tailored clean appearance but, I have had more trouble with them over the years as actual working shades with blackout.  The mechanism in them ALWAYS breaks.

The Shade Store has taken their years of expertise in the industry and perfected this.  They can go up and down smoothly with ease infinite times and each time end up smoothly pleated. Here are my roman shades in my office in a fun DVF fabric offered in their diverse fabric collection

They offer an abundance of other styles as well from, roller shades which I used in my conference room to various types of blinds and drapery panels.  Almost anything can be customized to suit any whim.  I am a fan!

I also love the ability to do a mock up online to see a similar replication of what your item would look like finished.

Genius!

Here are a few I played around with various types of treatments from tulip romans to grommet panels:

I will be using my local Shade Store but luckily they have everything offered online as well.

Happy decorating!
