I have a few favorite pieces, one is Ohh Starry Night,

How has the your area influenced your work?
When I first moved to LA, the California landscape was very influential – as my paintings from pre 2006 are all very green landscapes. Slowly I turned more abstract and I think that abstraction represents some of the frenetic energy of this city, as well as all the media input that comes our way 24/7.
What is your favorite restaurant in LA?
Right now, my favorite restaurant is Katsuya in Studio City. I am addicted.
What is your favorite cocktail?
Rose’ or tequila straight
How do you balance personal life and work?
I don’t always consider my “work” work because it is what I prefer to do for work and play. But to start, I have a studio away from my home, which helps me to shut “work” off at the end of the day. And then I harass my friends to find time for me.
I’d like to go on a small boat down the Amazon (with an incredible chef) and stop in remote villages.
Anything covering a large surface that I have carte blanche with (and if I can create it in an exotic place, even better)
Your favorite host / hostess gift to give?
