Swish SALT and PEPPER Shakers

My cute niece is getting married soon. She registered for the precious giraffe and zebra salt and pepper shakers below and sparked this idea to share. I have always thought there were so many cute shakers but have never indulged. Families are raised differently. We NEVER had salt and pepper on the table.  I was told the food was served properly seasoned before our plates were served. On the other hand,  my husband's family always uses additional salt and pepper and I am scrounging around the cabinets trying to find my ugly and utilitarian shakers.   kate spade new york Salt and Pepper Shakers, Woodland Park Zebra and Giraffe Here are some beauties...

Boo’s Homemade Rolls

A little share from my post for The Southern C this week.  Check out the amazing recipes for Thanksgiving.  Boo and me…Christmas 1979      Homemade yeast rolls have always been my favorite part of any family holiday.  They were lovingly prepared for the whole brood by my grandmother, Beulah Rimmer Craig, and LaVonne Sherill, her faithful helper.  We have enjoyed this recipe long since my Boo died.  My mother still makes these only for Thanksgiving and Christmas.  We are like children fighting for the hot ones straight from the oven.  There really is not much better than fresh baked buttery goodness to be thankful...
