This glorious fall season has me really wanting a firepit at our home. It would be such fun to sit at night under the stars with the children roasting s'mores. Here are all my favorite firepits via Pinterest. This is Lee Kleinhelter's home from Cottage Living long ago. I will never forget this one from Elle Decor. It is Courtney Cox's Malibu pad. This is a simple chic option for the more traditional home. The clever concrete settee in a great element. I am a sucker for a sunken conversation pit. Yum! How cool is this? Flowers on the horizon…

I need to get my Pixie Spring cottage planted and ready for summer. Plants grow really well in the North Carolina mountains even with my black thumb. Here are my plans… I want these flowers in these faux bois jardineres the window boxes need to be more neutral but are totally shaded… I love this look. I need a pair of faux bois chairs on the lower patio. I would love the front hedge to look like this…The boxwood and hydrangea combination is beautiful.
