Nashville Bound: The 2027 Antiques & Garden Show

Antiques, gardens, design inspiration, and a very real chance of coming home with furniture. My kind of weekend.

I have attended the Antiques & Garden Show of Nashville many times and bought some incredible pieces over the years. You know I love a good treasure hunt, and this show makes “just browsing” practically impossible.

I am thrilled to be returning for the 2027 show as an ambassador of the event. An official reason to surround myself with beautiful things? Twist my arm.

The 37th annual show takes place January 8 through 10, 2027, at Music City Center in Nashville, with festivities beginning January 7. The theme, “Timeless: Living a Collected Life,” could not be more up my alley. Give me rooms with personality, pieces with history, and a mix that could never be ordered from one catalog. Add antiques, gardens, and this speaker lineup, and I am in.

The lineup is worth planning your weekend around.

Friday, January 8, begins with Cordelia de Castellane, Artistic Director of DIOR Home and Baby DIOR, presenting A Life Well Layered: Fashion, Interiors & the Garden at 11 a.m. Color, textiles, flowers, and French entertaining? Yes, please.

At 2 p.m., Mieke ten Have, Aldous Bertram, and Schuyler Samperton join moderator John Bossard for Living Collected: Curating a Home with Meaning.

Saturday, January 9, brings Ariella Chezar and Matthew Rice, moderated by Frances Schultz, for Bloom & Brush: The Artistry of Nature at 11 a.m.

Then, at 2 p.m., Bunny Williams and Elizabeth Lawrence join moderator Anne Hardy for The Art of Seeing: Cultivating an Eye for Beauty.

Book signings follow each session. Saturday also includes Music in the Gardens from 3 to 5 p.m., while Sunday’s Shopping in the Garden offers coffee, bloody marys, pastries, and snacks for purchase as you browse. Shopping with a bloody mary sounds like excellent weekend planning to me.

And, of course, there are parties.

The Preview Party is Thursday, January 7, from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Tickets are $350, with cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and early shopping access. Dress is cocktail festive, which is a direction I can happily follow.

The Bourbon Party is Friday, January 8, from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Tickets are $95, with bourbon, live music, and shopping. The suggested attire is boots and blazers with Nashville flair. Clearly, my closet has been preparing for this.

Here are the details to bookmark:

  • Location: Music City Center, 201 Rep. John Lewis Way South, Nashville, Tennessee.
  • Friday and Saturday hours: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Sunday hours: 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • General admission: $35 for access to the show floor all three days.
  • Discounted admission: $30 for seniors 65+, students, and active military. Children 12 and under enter free.
  • Ticket reminder: Lectures and special events require separate tickets. Those tickets do not include daytime show-floor admission, so purchase general admission, too.

There is a wonderful purpose behind all this beauty. The show has helped raise more than $12 million for Cheekwood and ECON Charities, supporting cultural experiences and programs that strengthen children and families through Light A Spark and Raising Resilience Tennessee. Shopping for a good cause is an argument I am always happy to support.

Get your tickets HERE and make a Nashville weekend of it. I cannot wait to return, reconnect with design friends, and see what treasures catch my eye.

I can promise inspiration. I cannot promise restraint…a few snaps from last year.
