Banana Leaf Beauty and The Beverly Hills Hotel

While in LA a few weeks ago, I had a lovely lunch by the pool at the Beverly Hills Hotel.

My tour through the hotel and the iconic martinique wallpaper

led me past the gift shop where the leaf print surfboard was perched in the window as a taunting reminder of how much I want a surfboard.

The irony lies in the fact that I am slightly TERRIFIED of the water and sharks.

Neverless, this surf board and that damn beauty by Gray Malin are haunting my dreams…too bad I have a mountain vacation home and not a beach one.

Don’t care…I WANT it.
