SAND CAST HARDWARE
Some designs lend themselves only to sand casting. Sand casting is a labor intensive method of manufacturing hardware that is suitable for producing small batches of unique products. Pieces vary due to the handmade nature of the fabrication methods.
A few of our lines are offered this way.
Although Du Verre Hardware is precision die cast a great deal of hand work is still involved with the finishing process. As with any hand finished item from textiles to paint, some small variations will occur from piece to piece and batch to batch. This is a normal part of the manufacturing process and is not considered a defect. Remember that every item does not come in every finish so please check the individual piece for available options.
