Mark your calendars and find the deal of the decade at La Cienega Design Quarter’s first-ever sidewalk sale Friday, Oct. 6, and Saturday, Oct. 7, 2017.
The same design shops and showrooms that sell to the top designers, collectors and celebrities, including John Legend, Jennifer Aniston, Ryan Seacrest, Oprah and Ellen DeGeneres, will be opening their doors, sidewalks and courtyards for a two-day, all-access, free-to-the-public shopping event.
Experience the thrill of browsing through a treasure trove of retro chairs and furniture, vintage carpets, one of a kind lighting and bushels of fabric and wallpaper – then stumbling across a fabulous lamp from Dragonette or a stylish (and heavily discounted) Madeline Stuart ottoman that is too good a deal to pass up! Nearly 30 shops and showrooms on La Cienega Boulevard, Melrose Place and Melrose Avenue are participating from 10 am to 6 pm both days, and Sunshine Juice & Coffee truck will be there serving breakfast and Spitz and Taco Cartel trucks will offer up lunch. For those looking for a weekend DIY project, pick up a roll of wallpaper from Serena & Lily, or a fabric remnant from Hollywood at Home or Harbinger for new pillow covers, and voila – an instantly brighter, happier living space for the price of lunch
