Mad for Made Goods New Introductions

I am mad for Made Goods. They are one of my very favorite sources because they just get it.  The materials and design are unusual, beautiful and high quality. They are heirloom quality pieces that you will not see everywhere. The new introductions being shown at New York market, NY NOW, are extraordinary!

Hot off the great Viking River Cruise to Europe (more on that tomorrow) with a whopper size jet-lag, I am going to have sweet dreams of a heavenly sleep in the Brennan bed with that malachite green headboard.

I have chosen my top 10 favorite new introductions to share but, see all the beauties HERE

Brennan Bed

The handcrafted Brennan starts with the shape of a simple canopy; it’s elevated by a triangle-detailed base and a twisted- metal finish that gives the bed an intriguing textural depth. Our offerings provide incredible range—interchangeable headboards available in unique finishes and four different frame colors—for a level of customization you won’t find anywhere else.

Mitchell Desk

Dramatically angled legs and a curved desktop front give the Mitchell its machine-age look. A faux-linen finish adds an organic element to the ’30s-inspired silhouette and leafed metal hardware provides the finishing touch on this incredibly sleek piece. Available in turquoise for a chic pop of color.

Janelle Bed

A grand canopy top is the striking detail of this bed’s silhouette, giving an air of understated elegance. This Baldachin-style Janelle offers subtle luxury with scallop details, a smooth gold- leafed finish, and a full range of customization, including four different frame colors and interchangeable headboards options in six unique materials or upholstery.

Gabriel Chair

We’ve taken furniture’s most casual material and given it a graphic feel. The Gabriel is hand woven using strips of rattan of varying ages—it’s how we created such an eye-catching look with naturally hued color variation. The chair’s comfortable shape, wood legs, upholstered seat, and diagonal pattern evoke the most stylish models of the ’70s best designs.

Margarete Stool

Like two half circles placed together, the Margarete has the geometric shape of a squat hourglass. A faux-raffia finish softens the bold silhouette of this versatile stool or bench, adding unexpected texture with our incredibly durable replica of one of décor’s most in-demand materials. Pair with a console for an eye-catching tableau.

Hessa Double Nightstand

Now available in two nightstand sizes. A shell-inlay floral design made from mother of pearl adds an iridescent sheen to this ultra-feminine piece. The small handset pieces make the Hessa sparkle with depth; the open-back silhouette and spacious drawer make it as practical as it is pretty.

Leighton Dining Table

Add a touch of modern glamour to any dining situation with our geometric Leighton. The eye-catching curves that form the utilitarian shape of its metal base are unexpectedly paired with glam finishes of silver and gold. Interchangeable with any of our dining tops, each available in three sizes.

Corbin Cocktail Table

We’ve taken a quintessential silhouette of the mid-century modern movement and given it the Made Goods treatment. The slightly tapered, kidney-shaped Corbin is completely covered in our opulent faux shagreen. This gorgeous coffee table makes an elegant yet playful living room centerpiece.

Alene Double Nightstand

The mid-century inspired shape of our Alene pairs perfectly with our faux-linen finish. Two drawers provide ample storage and tapered wooden legs keep the nightstand from feeling bulky. The handles are also covered in faux linen with brass hardware detailing, a thoughtful finishing touch on a piece made for modern design lovers

Conrad Dresser

The slight sheen of the hand-cast, raffia-like resin finish of
our Conrad dresser adds a hint of glamour to an otherwise natural-looking piece. It’s a material much more durable and refined than the actual woven fabric. With unique proportions both sensible and modern, the Conrad is also available as a nightstand, console, desk, and coffee table.
