Paint GIVEAWAY with Farrow & Ball

I have another very exciting GIVEAWAY for you this week.

I have teamed up with Farrow & Ball out of the UK to celebrate their new collection of nine paint colours. Together we are giving you the opportunity to win paint for a room of your choice in any of the new nine colors. Keep reading below to find out all the details on how to win.  It is very easy and the opportunity to be very creative.

You may remember a few weeks ago I introduced you to all of these colours on my blog. You can also explore them on the Farrow & Ball website.

First, I want introduce introduce you to my new favorite color, Vardo.

This colour seems so full of life and joy it seemed natural to name it after something which is known to have a flamboyant colour. A Vardo is a traditional horse drawn gypsy or Romany wagon. A similar colour was used in the intricate patterning of these showmen’s vehicles (usually over red) which is seen as an important cultural high point in decoration during the mid-19th century.

Vardo is an incredibly vibrant yet versatile colour that works so well with whites. It looks fantastically elegant when combined with the lighter Pavilion Gray and especially atmospheric with the darker Down Pipe.

Use in west facing rooms where the colour builds up throughout the day for a perfect glow in the evening.

If you are a long time reader of my blog, you will know that I am a fashion and design junkie. In creating my moodboard I mixed different elements that inspire me from my icon Iris Apfel to jewelry, fashion and interior elements. I hope you enjoy the things that inspire me in this wonderful hue.

Get Creative!

If you are not familiar with Farrow & Ball paints you should be. It is the highest quality paint you can purchase. The colors cannot be matched by other manufacturers because they use such high quality ingredients that often only found in local areas. The finishes are amazing an unprecedented. The Full Gloss is my favorite for the extraordinary sheen.

“Farrow & Ball paints are born and bred in Dorset, England. We’ve resided here since John Farrow, and fellow paint pioneer, Richard Ball first founded the company in 1946. Their passion for making paint to original formulations, using only the finest ingredients and age-old methods, is matched by our craftsmen today.

There is true alchemy to our paints. It’s the high levels of pigment, rich resin binders, and the high refractory nature of our key ingredients that produces our signature immersive depth of colour. And, to ensure our paint meets our obsessively high requirements, we scrupulously test every batch before it even reaches the tin. There’s a reason Stiffkey Blue is the precise colour of the extraordinary mud found at Stiffkey beach in Norfolk!”

I would like to ask a favor,  please vote for me DAILY until March 15th in the Trad Home search for the “New Trads Rising Stars in Design.
