Retail Therapy & Weekend Wants

I’m back from Copenhagen and Stockholm, and my inspiration levels are officially off the charts. Design, hotels, food, fashion, people watching… my brain is in complete overload in the very best way.

And Ett Hem. I may never recover. Truly. It is that fantastic. Every single detail felt effortless, layered, personal and impossibly chic. I wanted to photograph everything, steal every design idea and possibly just move in.

Scandinavia has left me completely smitten and realizing just how much more there is to explore. A huge thank you to my dear friend Grant Gibson of Travel with Grant, who plans the absolute best trips. He somehow manages to perfectly balance design, inspiration, fabulous hotels, incredible food and meticulously curated groups of interesting people. Much more on all of that coming this week.

And then there was the fashion. The street style in Copenhagen and Stockholm is next level. Cool without trying, slightly unexpected, beautifully layered and enough to send me straight into shopping mode.

Naturally, I did some damage at Toteme (prices there were so much better). Consider the Scandinavian influence officially activated.

So after a week of visual stimulation and questionable restraint, this week’s Retail Therapy & Weekend Wants is particularly dangerous.

Let’s shop.

Clearly Scandinavia has rewired my fall wardrobe brain. After a week of watching impossibly chic women parade around Copenhagen and Stockholm, I suddenly need ALL THE THINGS.

The coats were next level. I’m eyeing THIS, THIS, THIS, THIS and THIS. A great oversized coat somehow makes everything underneath look intentional.

I cannot stop thinking about jackets either. Love THIS, THIS, THIS and especially THIS. Throw one over jeans, add a great shoe and you’re done.

Speaking of shoes, the Scandinavian girls have perfected the art of the unexpected shoe. I want THESE (viral and on sale), THESE, THESE and THESE. Bonus points for something slightly weird.

And obviously, BOOT SEASON has arrived. Give me THESE (ordered and I have in another color from 2 years ago and they are the best), THESE, THESE, THESE and THESE. Tall, western, chunky, suede… apparently I need them all.

The bags were equally dangerous. I’m loving THIS, THIS, THIS and THIS. Suede and rich brown leather are especially calling my name.

Naturally, I spotted plenty of animal print, which we all know I consider a neutral. THESE, THIS, THIS and THIS are currently tempting me. Leopard forever.

I also came home wanting more suede, chocolate brown, olive, burgundy and RED. Basically all the rich fall colors. Add THIS, THIS, THIS and THIS to the list.

And because no Retail Therapy is complete without a few totally unnecessary things that I suddenly cannot live without: THIS, THIS, THIS, THIS and THESE.

My suitcase made it home. My credit card may need a little more time to recover. Yet, for even more temptation, shop all my latest Shopbop Hearts HERE. Consider yourself warned.

Happy hunting!
