From High Point Market to client projects, this week has been FULL. So much inspiration, so many decisions, and somehow still plenty of time to shop. Apparently, that department never closes.

Today I am headed to USC Equestrian to watch the meet against UGA. Horses and a little SEC rivalry? My kind of Friday. Go Dawgs!

As for this week’s wants, restraint has left the building. Market always sends me home with fresh ideas and a wildly inflated sense of what I “need.” Add fall fashion to the mix and we have a situation.

My jacket problem continues. I am eyeing THIS, THIS, and THIS. Naturally, THIS and THIS have also made the list. A fab Chloé dupe for under $85 on sale now! This under $50 number packs a punch! This is a faux fur to keep forever. Then there is THIS splurge I keep coveting. At this point, we are in a committed relationship. It just doesn’t know it yet.

Dress me up and give me somewhere to go. THIS, THIS, and THIS have me ready to accept a few more invitations. Buying the outfit first and finding the occasion later has always worked for me.

The shoe situation is equally out of hand. I want THESE and THESE, with THESE and THESE making a very convincing case, too. Floor space is a problem for another day.

Bags I “need.” Using that word loosely, of course. THIS and THIS are calling my name, while THIS and THIS are making it impossible to pick a favorite. I also ordered the cutest personalized tote for my needlepoint projects. I have never been particularly interested in choosing just one.

Scarf me with THIS, THIS and THIS. 

Animal print for days. You know I consider it a neutral, which makes THIS, THIS, and THIS practically wardrobe basics. Add THIS, THIS, and THIS, and we have a perfectly reasonable little safari.

A few books for the table. My stacks could always use another layer, especially with THIS, THIS, and THIS in the mix. I am adding THIS and THIS to the wish list, too. Design inspiration and decorating accessories in one purchase? That is my kind of multitasking.

A little whimsy never hurt anyone. I just love THIS, THIS, THIS, and THIS. Life is too short for a wardrobe without a sense of humor.
