Spring Dreaming: Playa Grande Beach Club

This move has wiped me out!  It is the first year in all my years I cannot recall having a “Spring Break” on the books.

Our kids have 3 different breaks, we went to Italy for 2 weeks for Christmas and we just moved to a home that needs loads of attention.

All of these are valid reasons to stay put yet I find myself beach dreaming.

Celerie Kemble designed Playa Grande Beach Club in the Dominican Republic. It is a stunner that could cure my winter blues.

Great choice with Playa!!! I’ve been dreaming of going there for such a long time. Love your blog, the art, retail wants, travel. I get so much inspiration from you, so keep up the great work and best of luck with the move.

Playa Grande is owned by the Fanjul family. They are modern day slave owners, so that they can harvest their sugar in the Dominican Republic, and are destroying the Everglades in Florida growing their sugar. Google them…

Playa Grande is built on the back of slavery.
