Textile Tuesday: Fleur Indienne Velvet by Schumacher

Some fabrics whisper. Fleur Indienne Velvet screams fabulous.

This glorious new Schumacher velvet, created in collaboration with Caroline Rennequin, has completely stolen my maximalist heart. The Cinnabar colorway is rich, exotic, and just the right amount of over-the-top.

I’m imagining it on a pair of fabulous club chairs, a dramatic ottoman, or even a headboard for someone who isn’t afraid of a little pattern-on-pattern action. The lush velvet gives the exuberant floral an extra dose of decadence.

It feels worldly, collected, and wonderfully unapologetic. In other words, right up my alley.

Happy Textile Tuesday!
