The 2019 Southern C Summit

If you have followed me for long you know I adore The Southern C Summit.

It is a conference to help define your brand, built your business and lead the way for entrepreneurs. I have been lucky enough to attend all except 1.

The ticket sales are going fast and a limited number this year and I want to personally encourage you to attend.

Here are my three reasons why you should be at The Summit in glorious Sea Island, Georgia February 6-8th, 2019.

FRESH EDUCATIONAL SESSIONS GEARED TOWARD BUSINESS GROWTH

The Southern C has put together a thoughtful mix of new presenters  + some of their most-requested presenters, with fresh content and new educational topics. For example…

Elizabeth Mayhew, Brand Director of Draper James + Lydia Mansel, Social Media Editor for Garden & Gun will show you how to build a brand and grow your audience and engagement through storytelling and social connection, including how to build, write and photograph social media.

Sean Low, founder of consulting firm The Business of Being Creative, will help set the foundation for your business’ growth and development so you can take your business as far as you want it to go. His client list includes the who’s who of creative business – from designers (interior, graphic, event and fashion), photographers, florists, even Cordovans (shoemakers). Among interior designers, Sean’s client list includes, among others, Vicente Wolf, Nate Berkus, Sawyer Berson and Barry Dixon.

Mary Beth Greene of mb greene bags, Amy Mills of 17th Street BBQ, Carrie Morey of Callie’s Biscuits and Melany Robinson of Polished Pig Media will discuss how they have continued to pursue and implement growth education and strategies to consistetly push their brands to deliver at a higher level.

Phyllis Hoffman DePiano, founder of Hoffman Media will share how she grew the business from her dining room table into a niche publishing company with 11 regular magazine titles specializing in food, lifestyle and interiors, a growing consumer-events business and ancillary products division. Moderated by one of the most popular Summit presenters, Brian Hart Hoffman, President/Chief Creative Officer of Hoffman Media (and her son!) who remembers it firsthand.

SERIOUS MEDIA IN ATTENDANCE…WHO ARE SERIOUS ABOUT COLLABORATIONS

Do you know how difficult it is to get a desk-side appointment with a magazine editor? #youbetterbeconnected

At The Summit, you dont have to be seriously connected to meet an editor. When their media presenters arent on stage, they are busy networking with attendees. Because the search for fresh content never stopsand these editors know that Summit attendees are of a certain caliber.

And they are serious about networking. Did you know that Hoffman Media has featured Summit attendees more than 17 times in the nine months since the 2018 Summit?! #connectcollaboratecreate #ispytscsummitalums

They have a great group of media attending this year and—with only 300 attendees—your access is only limited by your willingness to introduce yourself.
