The Olympic Games and Great Game Tables…

A wonderful beach week has concluded.  Other than watching hours on end of the Olympics each night, we did lots of puzzles and games on the dining room table and determined that my friends house needs a game table ASAP.  I really think all family rooms need a game table. Ours often doubles as a late night dinner spot after the children are asleep. They are surprisingly hard to find. Here are a few favorites.

I adore this OOMPH table that comes in all the colors below.  I bet you can guess what color I would choose.

A custom Lamshop number as seen a few months ago on the cover of House Beautiful by Lindsay Coral Harper

A lovely vintage Shagreen option via Donna Parker antiques…

A nicely shaped grasscloth covered option via Meyerland

A love this vintage lacquer and nickel table via Irwinfeld Design.

You can also get some great very inexpensive options.  This galvanized steel is by CB2.

The West Elm Parsons table is constant classic.

The Tulip table designed by Saarinen is a must but, can break a budget. This Ikea docksta table is a real durable bargain.

What is your favorite game? or table for that matter?

Adore the red table with the little drawer. The lines are wonderfully chic!
