Wallpaper Wednesday: Felix by The Vale London

Happy Wallpaper Wednesday!

I am wild for this whimsical Felix Mural wallpaper from The Vale London.

A collaboration with Lala Curio, a Hong Kong-based home decor brand that revives ancient artisanship for modern-yet-timeless interiors, this is The Vale’s first, truly bespoke wallcovering — and our first foray into Surrealism. Koi fish encapsulated in bubbles, children in school-uniform building a sand pyramid, a monkey perched atop a slice of grapefruit blowing bubbles from a conch shell, a llama floating away on a bundle of balloons… The illogically uplifting seascape was inspired by the work of collage artists Mohanad Shuraideh and Joe Webb, and is meant to spark immense joy. Hand-painted on pink Thai silk before being hand-embroidered and beaded for dimension and depth, each Lala Curio for The Vale panel is exclusively made-to-order.

Bespoke colourways and alterations to composition are available upon request. Please see images for variations in composition and sizes possible. Embellishments are hand-embroidered therefore slight variations may occur.
