Wallpaper Wednesday: Harwood Steiger at Kravet
This week’s Wallpaper Wednesday is a good one. Kravet has revived the iconic work of Harwood Steiger and I am completely smitten.
Founded by husband and wife duo Harwood Steiger and Sophie Steiger in Tubac, Arizona. The studio became known in the mid 20th century for its hand silk-screened textiles that feel both graphic and soulful. Think stylized plants, animals, and dreamy Southwestern desertscapes that still feel fresh today.
What I love most is the artistry. You can feel the hand behind it. The patterns have movement, charm, and just enough whimsy to make a space come alive.
This collection is perfect for anyone wanting to add a bit of story and soul to their interiors. It is layered, collected, and effortlessly cool.
A little bit of the Southwest, a whole lot of style.
It makes me reminisce fondly on my recent Santa Fe excursion.
