Wallpaper Wednesday: Mary Maguire’s Wonderful World of Wallpaper
More is more, and you know I am here for it!
This week’s Wallpaper Wednesday is all about the fabulous Mary Maguire wallpaper collection at Wallshoppe, and it is right up my maximalist alley.
I am forever drawn to wallpaper that feels like art, adds personality, and makes a room anything but boring. These designs are a wonderful excuse to embrace pattern, color, and a little decorating drama.
I love the idea of using a bold paper in a powder room, wrapping an entire jewel-box space, or adding a fabulous surprise to an otherwise forgotten corner.
Life is simply too short for boring walls!
Mary Maguire grew up on the Rhode Island coast and studied painting at Rhode Island School of Design, before a long career in New York publishing at Knopf, at Conde Nast, and as an editor for Ralph Lauren and the Jim Henson Company. She paints now from a studio in her Connecticut home, a building that was once the village general store and post office. Her first Wallshoppe collection draws on the sea, on wildlife, and on eighteenth and nineteenth century botanical drawing.

Happy Wallpaper Wednesday!
