I’m sharing my Word of the Year for 2026 and a vision board that reflects what I’m dreaming up for the year ahead that is shockingly already upon us. 

My word is RELAX.

Which, frankly, feels aspirational.

This all started when my nephew sent me a watch link and said, “This made me think of you.” At first glance, it looks like a classic Rolex—but instead it says RELAX. The numbers are scattered, the time is completely jumbled, and written right across the face: “Who cares, I’m already late.”

I have never felt so lovingly exposed.

Behind the color, confidence, and curated chaos, I am often a tightly wound ball of worry and anxiety pretending to be unbothered. I like control. I like order. I like things done well and on time. But this watch—and this vision board—felt like a gentle nudge (or maybe a playful shove) in another direction.

This year’s board isn’t about doing more. It’s about being more.
More ease.
More joy.
More bravery.
More trust.

It’s women who don’t behave, rooms that don’t apologize, horses that defy gravity, boots that don’t wait for permission, and reminders that if it doesn’t open… it’s not your door. It’s Iris-level confidence, cowgirl courage, humor as armor, and color as therapy. It’s about embodying your philosophy instead of explaining it.

Most of all, it’s about loosening my grip.

For 2026, I want to learn how to go with the flow a little more. To trust timing—even when it’s messy. To stop white-knuckling the clock. To believe that not everything needs fixing, managing, or perfecting to be meaningful.

So here’s my Word of the Year:
Less rushing.
Less worrying.
More breathing.
More living.
More RELAX.

Who cares…I’m already late anyway.
