Year of the Horse 2026

If there’s one thing I’ll never pretend to be chill about, it’s horses.

Riding is my reset button, my moving meditation, and my favorite kind of therapy with a mane and a tail. The moment I’m in the saddle, the world gets quieter, my shoulders drop, and my heart seems to remember its natural rhythm. There’s real science behind that magic too. Studies show that being around horses can actually help regulate and lower human heart rates, syncing us into a calmer, steadier state. I believe it. I feel it every single ride.

And today feels especially fitting because this post goes live on the first day of the Lunar New Year. In the lunar calendar, the Year of the Horse symbolizes energy, freedom, strength, and forward momentum. It’s a year associated with adventure, independence, and bold movement, basically everything I love about life in and out of the saddle.

So in the spirit of the Year of the Horse, I’m leaning all the way in. I’m celebrating the animals that have shaped my days, my design eye, and my sense of joy, and I’m sharing all my favorite horse inspired pieces to shop along the way.

Jewelry is another love and the 1st Dibs horse edit is divine.

From barn to living room to closet, consider this your curated love letter to life with horses.
