I have a serious crush on Child's Own Studio toys. These toys are hand made from your own drawings. Think this concept it just brilliant and such a boost for the budding artist. I love that imagination is truly brought to life. Oddly, this links in my mind to interior design through having the room vision in my head, visualizing it and then at installation voila! I loved these lights made out of vintage beaded African loin cloths… A chic decoupage sconce… A matching black decoupage bell jar…this would make an entryway. I am a sucker for any bone or mother of pearl inlay. I am dying to use these tulips in a girls room. I cannot get enough of these dog drawings by Valerie Davide. Bunk rooms are a great way to conserve space and sleep lots of children, particularly in vacation homes they very popular. I have found so many great ideas on Pinterest. Check out my bunk room pinboard. I love this room! Throw all the children in here. Remember to put a light in each bunk. The railing and use of color is terrific… I like the desks at the foot of each bed. Full beds…clever! I love the rustic look for my ranch (imaginary)… My favorite colors here.
