Art Love: Jennifer King
Happy Art Love Monday!
Today’s crush is the wonderfully imaginative ceramic work of Jennifer King, available through TFA Advisory here in Charlotte.
King creates hand-built stoneware vessels that fall somewhere between sculpture, painting and storytelling. Faces, flowers, dangling charms and gloriously imperfect forms explore identity, womanhood and connection, all with plenty of humor and personality.
Basically, these are not your grandmother’s polite little pots.
I’m particularly smitten with Lost Reverie of Desire, a colorful 2026 stoneware piece covered in faces, flowers and dangling ceramic charms. Quirky, colorful and completely captivating.
