Luxurious Hermès Fabrics

IMG_6085-2

It is no secret, I LOVE Hermès.  The French luxury brand epitomizes chic and of course the signature orange draws me in to be sure. The  fabric and wallpaper line is luxurious and beyond.  Jerry Pair in New York had the full Dedar line represented and hanging.  I could not get enough.  The horses, elephants and feathers have me swooning!

Here are my favorites:

COUVERTURES ET TENUES DE JOUR col. M01

Printed on cotton velvet using twenty four flat screens, the design shows elegantly bedecked horses parading at the racecourse. An adaptation of the omonimous Hermès scarf.

BRAZIL col. M01

This Laurence Bourthoumieux drawing represents the soaring of egrets and bracelets that came from Indians of South America which evokes the ceremonial trimmings. This collection bristles with exploratory exotic treasures – beads, feathers, wicker, shell, leather braiding, raffia and horsehair…Printed on a satin of cotton.211055_M03proportional_q90211055_M02proportional_q90211055_M01proportional_q90

JARDIN D’OSIER IMPRIMÉ

Inspired by an Indian garden with its flowers, shrubs and fountains, this new design by Pierre Marie illustrates a refined world in which the profusion of plants and flowers symbolises serenity and well-being. The tale of this new Persian-inspired garden is told in a naïve style, inkjet printed onto silk faille.

ARBRE DE VIE IMPRIMÉ

Inspired by the eponymous silk scarf created by Christine Henry in 2010, Arbre de vie is printed on smooth and glossy cotton sateen. This ‘iconic’ design is a landscape of paisley foliage, peopled with strange characters and figures.

CHEVAL PIXEL col. M01

This new houndstooth furnishing fabric inspired by the male wardrobe repeats a micro-motif of a galloping horse. The épinglé technique lends it a relief that suits the “pixelised” motif

EQUATEUR col. M02

The iconic design by Robert Dallet created in 1988 presents a vision on a grand scale of equatorial flora and fauna
