Style Spotters Day 2 & 3 at High Point Market

Wow, High Point Market wears me out!!!!

I picked the first 18 of 25 items for my High Point Market Style Spotter picks. I need to get busy tomorrow and choose the additional 7.

I already have quite a few in mind!

 See the first 8 HERE.

The Consort Design Glouton Swivel Chair features an arched back, plush armrests, sloped silhouette, and full 360-degree swivel base. 49 upholstery options make it pretty hard to pick a winner, but I am pretty partial to this one in a Alpaca Boucle.

I am mad for this Lacefield Designs textile exclusive designed by Charleston artist Dorothy Shain. “Local Market” is happy and bright with a nod to Matisse Cost Outs.

Barrie Benson’s new Hexagonal Ottoman for Highland House is a charmer.  It is available in 2 sizes and infinite choices including COM, Stain and lacquer on the inset tray. This piece is the best of both worlds blending the ottoman and cocktail table into one.

Mural Source is my go to for mural wallpaper that is not customized. Maysong Hyacinth is a modern twist to chinoiserie with beautifully colored pheasants and peonies on a hyacinth blue background. Each panel is 36″ wide by 72″ tall. Design height: 50″. Printed on MuralPro wallpaper.

Tony Duquette designed the original Ottoman Banquette to fit inside the bay window of “Cow Hollow” his bird cage Victorian house in San Francisco. An iconic Duquette design, The Ottoman Banquette became a favorite piece for many of his discerning clients. This modern version by Hutton Wilkinson for Pearson Furniture is sure to become a classic.

Gina Julien’s “She Who Dares” Op Art is a showstopper. Her bold use of color and strong palettes are exquisite.

If the glowing orb that traverses the night sky could shed its roundness and dress itself in a long flowy skirt of crystals, it would introduce itself as Currey and Company’s Moonshadow Chandelier designed by Aviva Stanoff. Long irregular pieces of Selenite dangle from a metal shade in an antique brass finish, the crystalline minerals effervescing when the light is switched on. Even when it is not lit, this chandelier is a luminous decorative accent.

Alexis Walter always wows with her abstract works. This asymmetrical diptych in chartreuse is a modern beauty with a nod to the 80’s in its unusual shape.

Gray Malin is an internationally renowned fine-art photographer and New York Times best selling author whose work combines the spirit of travel, adventure, luxury, and artistry.  Inspired by his acclaimed aerial photography, the Gray Malin Wallpaper collection is an exciting new addition to the Mitchell Black Wallcovering catalog. The Gray Malin Wallpaper x Mitchell Black Home collection is available online in pre-pasted paper, removable peel & stick vinyl and a textured premium matte vinyl suitable for residential and commercial installations. My pick is inspired by the timeless glamour of Miami’s famed South Beach, The Sunbathers pattern features a sand colored background with scattered sun bathers using tangerine-colored beach towels.

Glamorous and quiet at the same time, the Helios Entertainment Console by Bernhardt Interiors is inspired by the rays of the sun. The console has three doors with polished stainless steel frames encasing pearlescent capiz shell arranged in a striking starburst pattern. Two polished stainless steel open design legs.
