Textile Tuesday: Serpenti by Harlequin

Happy Textile Tuesday!

I hate snakes in the wild with a burning passion yet, I am utterly fascinated with them as a motif.

Serpenti by Harlequin is my latest crush.

A richly coloured snake damask, Serpenti is an original piece of artwork, drawn in the Harlequin studio. Inspired by treasures traded along the silk route, such as luxurious textiles and jewels, it juxtaposes with one of nature’s most feared animals. Produced on cotton velvet and emerized cotton, the design’s heavily saturated colours highlight the decorate beauty of a snake’s delicate skin.

Available in three colourways: Onsen/Emerald/Azul, Brazilian Rosewood/Grounded/Amber Light and Bleached Coral/Paprika/Positano/Azul

Isn’t she a beauty?
