Textile Tuesday & Wallpaper Wednesday: Tillett for Schumacher

It’s Wallpaper Wednesday meets Textile Tuesday, and this one is pure joy.

I was lucky enough to sell this brand as Dek Tillett many moons ago when I worked in Atlanta at Travis & Company.

The Tillett Collection by F. Schumacher & Co. is a celebration of color, charm, and that perfectly imperfect hand that makes a room feel alive. Think painterly florals, playful scale, and patterns that practically smile back at you.

A Little History

Originally founded in the 1940s by Leslie and D.D. Tillett, the brand became known for its hand screen-printed fabrics bursting with personality. Their work quickly caught the eye of tastemakers including Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, who famously used Tillett throughout her homes and even in her wardrobe. The iconic “Jackie’s Daisy” was created just for her private quarters with Sister Parish. Chic, historic, and still fresh.

Why We Love It Now

Schumacher’s revival brings these beloved patterns back with updated colorways while keeping that original hand-painted spirit intact. The result feels effortless, collected, and full of life.

It’s giving Palm Beach meets Park Avenue with a dash of garden party charm.

And honestly, in a world that feels a bit heavy, I’ll take a room wrapped in happy prints any day.

Cheerful, iconic, and endlessly charming. Just how we like it.
