Wallpaper Wednesday: Gaze by Aux Abris

Happy Wallpaper Wednesday!

Eye see a real beauty.

Gaze is inspired by the ceiling of Blenheim Palace, ancestral home to Winston Churchill.  Gladys Deacon commissioned British artist Colin Gill in 1928 to to paint her eyes on the portico.  She was renowned for her eccentricity and outstanding good looks, especially her eyes. We made these all-seeing eyes shift subtly from side to side as if looking around the room. It is printed on mica-coated paper to add a lustrous finish.

If it was good enough for Churchill, it is certainly good enough for me!
