Wallpaper Wednesday: Vera Neumann for F.Schumacher

I am a sucker for wallpaper, always.

The new Vera Neumann Collection for F. Schumacher is pure happiness. Vera was a design icon of the midcentury who was prolific in her design.

Vera Neumann isn’t a name that most people are familiar with—but it should be. The prolific 20th-century designer created a cacophony of colorful textile designs throughout her career, as well as bedding, tableware, clothing, and more. (Her scarves, which appeared with her signature ladybug emblem, were another specialty.) But Schumacher, the New York–based heritage fabric, wallpaper, and trim house, was well aware of Neumann’s work. In fact, the company debuted Neumann’s first fabric collection in 1947. Ultimately, Schumacher went on to expand its Vera Neumann offerings, some of which are among the company’s most popular products today.” via AD

I got to see it all in person today.
