Busy Weekend

Saturday was Big Saturday, an annual carnival,  at my children's school.  I worked a few booths and checked in on my daughters jewelry sale.  She has sold jewelry for a few years.  Her business name is Twinkle.  She wants to create an online store.  Impressive for an 11 year old I think. These Nepalese beaded bracelets were the biggest sellers by far.  I have been wearing an armload of them ever since they came in and get tons of complements.  I love that they are Fair Trade and support women in the region.

Saturday night dinner with friends was at one of my favorite spots, Toscana.  The food is divine.  I had rigatoni buttera.  It was so good.  Pasta is so taboo these days but, once in a while it is a delicious indulgence.

The dragon bracelet and ring by Roberto Coin have been added to my permanent wish list.  It is the year of the dragon after all.

A wonderful client and friend of mine has a linen buying hobby. She scours Ebay and the internet for vintage linen embroidered and appliquéd cocktail napkins. Her collection is quite envious.  I have started a little collection myself this week.  These elephants buy Gerbrend are my first purchase.  How precious!

I found these hand embroidered cuties on ETSY.

I could not resist these either.

Naughty vintage cocktail napkins with padded bumps. Adorable!

I entered the Kate Spade Ride Colorfully contest on Pinterest.  Check out my board. It was really a fun idea to come up with the travel ideas and images. I hope I win a  Kate Spade Vespa!

I discovered The Saguaro in Palm Springs. How fun is this colorful exterior?  I really want to visit this town of amazing mid century architecture.

My little retail therapy for the weekend was this cute long skirt for flat sandals,  bright t shirts and an arm full of bangles.

And this casual dress from Zara

and this from Zara too.  Do I have a shopping problem?

Maybe…

I am busy today compiling my shopping list for High Point Market.  Headed there early tomorrow.

A busy week is ahead.
