Art Love: Daniel O’Toole at Hidell Brooks Gallery

Happy Art Love Monday!

If you’re anywhere near Charlotte this month, do yourself a favor and head to Hidell Brooks Gallery. They are currently showing the mesmerizing work of Australian artist Daniel O’Toole as part of their INTRO exhibition, and I can’t stop thinking about it. His sculptural, color-saturated paintings play with light, reflection, and dimension, making each piece feel alive as you move around it.

Equal parts painting, sculpture, and optical illusion, these works are modern, mesmerizing, and impossible to walk past without stopping. Consider this your sign to go see them in person before the exhibition closes. Trust me, photos don’t do them justice.
