Art Love: Page Jones Davis at Hidell Brooks Gallery

Happy Art Love Monday.

There is nothing I love more than discovering an artist whose work instantly lifts your mood, and Page Jones Davis does exactly that and has since I featured her years ago. Her joyful, color-filled paintings are part of the current March show at Hidell Brooks Gallery, and they feel like a breath of fresh spring air.

Based in Inman, South Carolina, Davis is known for her expressive use of color, layered texture, and playful compositions that blur the line between abstract and landscape. Her work captures fleeting moments of beauty and movement, translating them into vibrant canvases that feel both spontaneous and deeply thoughtful.

The pieces in this show are bursting with energy and optimism, which feels especially welcome this time of year. If you are like me and believe art should make your heart beat a little faster (and your walls a lot happier), Page Jones Davis is definitely one to watch.

Now excuse me while I daydream about which one might need to come home with me.
