L.A. in Review for Design Bloggers Conference / Blogfest 2013

I have partially recuperative from my trip to LA.

First stop was H. D Buttercup for a great party.  Here is a view of some of my favorite items.

Plexicraft was a sponsor of the conference and gave away these great acrylic chairs. Love!

Interesting graphic of the reach of blogs…Amazing!

Windsor Smith…such a fan of her work!

The wonderful author Susanna Salk…

A fabulous goodie bag from my Seattle design buddy, Ted Watson, owner of Watson Kennedy.

A mid afternoon pick me up…

The incomparable Charlotte Moss…

A terrific dinner with Fabricut to celebrate the launch of the French General Line. The food was DIVINE, as was the company.

This butterscotch pot de creme was sinful.

A favorite Fabricut new intro.

Barbara Barry was a TERRIFIC speaker..the best.

The lovely Lisa Mende inadvertently stole some lunch silverware. You gotta watch those designers.

Beth Greene introducing Newell Turner.

Newell Turner of Hearst and House Beautiful. LOVE HIM!

I raced to check in to a nicer hotel for my last night. Mr C. (of Cipriani) in Beverly Hills offered a check in cocktail of a Bellini at the bar.  No need to visit a desk. All done at the bar while your luggage is whisked to your room. YAY!

Cool abstract horse in the lobby.

A very masculine room..

I love room service!

The final night party was at Harbinger.  These are the fab Hillary Thomas finials.

Beautiful flowers and fab food by Lulu Powers.

I died over this vignette. The walls, art, all of it is the bomb!

Handsome Nacho…I have a serious crush on this attention hound!

Nathan with his brood. Such a great guy with a chic shop. The paintings are by my new friend Lesli Devito. Cannot wait to have her pant my pups.
