Textile Tuesday: Sahara by Scalamandré

Happy Textile Tuesday!

I’m back with a lovely new collection by Scalamandré

Scalamandré presents the Sahara Collection, a vibrant and eclectic offering inspired by regions of North Africa. This collection builds off the rich tones and graphic sensibility of our bestselling Leaping Cheetah print, now available in both fabric and wallcovering. Bold cotton and linen prints, colorful stripes, and chenille textures can be layered to create truly memorable, Instagram-worthy spaces. From an Egypt-inspired toile to an embroidery drawn from desert grass, this exclusive group of fabrics and wallcovering is designed to transport, delight and inspire. Journey with us through the Sahara Collection!

These are my 2 favorites from the collection:

Riad Cotton Print…This graphic, multi-colored pattern was inspired by the archways of a Moroccan riad, or courtyard. Digitally printed on a linen and cotton blend ground, this signature half-drop design has an organic flow and geometric sensibility. Each colorway features a dynamic palette that would be stunning at the window or as a glamorous upholstered headboard.

ROSETTE WOVEN in Disco…Named for the rose-like markings of wild cats, Rosette Woven is a fresh take on a classic animal-skin design. This fine jacquard woven offers subtle texture and pops of color created by a range of carefully selected weft yarns. Graphic yet balanced, this playful pattern makes for rockstar-status dining room chairs or irresistible sofa pillows.
