The One Room Challenge headed up by Calling It Home continues and is flying by!

Here are WEEK 1,  WEEK 2,  WEEK 3 and WEEK 4 if you are just tuning in.

This is a semi-annual event where 20 bloggers, made up of Professional Designers, Diy’ers, and Interior Design Bloggers, transform a room from start to finish.  For the next six Wednesday’s (we are at week 4), we will be giving you updates on our room progress.

Ok…truth be told I was lazy this week.  I will give you a few peaks but I clearly work better under pressure.  Here is where I stand. 

To Do List:

1. put together the desk chairs
2. have the light fixture installed
3. install the inspiration/cork board (and order too)
4. have the roman shade installed (the dang fabric just shipped…ugh)
5. style the bookshelves. (partially done….)
6. style the desk area

I love how the light fixture turned out.  

I love the furry chairs too. We went no arms because my son takes guitar and ukelele via FaceTime with a teacher in LA.  Apparently, arms get in the way.

Desk styling is going to take some prep work too.  I need to figure out what items I will be using for pencil cup, task lighting, phone charger, stapler, scissors, etc…a trip to office depot in in my future.  My lovely children seem to steal my pretty office supplies. The dang scissors are so elusive in this house!
