This week’s Art Love is all about Laura Tate and her wonderfully nostalgic collages. Inspired by vintage magazine pages and candy wrappers, Laura transforms familiar clippings into colorful, hyper-detailed works that feel playful, graphic and completely fresh.

Naturally, I’m especially smitten with the boots. Bubble Gum Boots, Fruit Stripe Boots, Life Saver Boots and Planters Peanut Boots combine my love of Western style, bold color and a healthy dose of nostalgia.

There are horses too, because apparently Laura knows all my weaknesses.

Color + collage + cowboy boots + horses? Consider me sold.

A handful of these beauties are still available through Well + Wonder, but I wouldn’t dilly-dally. These boots were made for collecting.
